I always start calculus lessons with one or two questions to get a great baseline and comfort level with knowledge, and work on a step-by-step basis, but showing helpful shortcuts (with explanations of why they work) whenever possible.

I tend to have certain tools available and handy (such as the unit circle) and encourage students to use them as a reference. Plus, with polygons, I focus more on needed formulae and explaining how they work and when to apply them.

I specialize in test prep overall, and my most recent ACT student was able to increase his score to reach his goal for college applications within just eight sessions.

I do my best to match the in-classroom experience when working with precalculus, and I focus on a step-by-step method to work through the problem and I encourage interactivity.

I have worked with a variety of statistics students, and have experience in MATLAB and other software.
