About:

I'm currently an Applied Mathematics major specializing in computing with a 3.96 GPA at the University of California, Los Angeles. Throughout my life, I feel that I have gravitated toward the subject of math. But what really made me truly fall in love with the subject and choose to pursue it in college was one teacher I had in high school that was truly special. Her engaging lessons, caringness, and ability to go the extra mile to help students are what I try to emulate when I help students with my lessons. My lessons generally follow a format where I first introduce a topic a student is struggling with in an understandable, visual example, and then teach it formally. I then give the student examples so they are able to practice themselves, where I help them along the way.

- I find an individual approach to each student - I explain the material in an accessible language, focusing on understanding ideas rather than cramming.
