In 2021 I went abroad and travelled with a company called EF Tours. I saw so many different cultures and it allowed me to work with a handful of organizations like Helping Hands. They are an organization that helps children in need and offers a safe place for them to go during after school hours. I had lots of fun playing games with them and they were always really sweet. Another really amazing group that I worked with was a non-profit organization called Latin American Sea Turtles and we pursued research on the turtles in our area. I also studied French in Paris during this program and lived with a host family for part of the year. The host-lady was a phonetics English teacher and would always complement my pronunciation, so I considered being an ESL teacher at the time. At the end of the program back in March I worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Dublin as a social media marketing intern. The whole experience was completely surreal and I am grateful to have met so many life-long friends.
