CELIA L.
I started my theatre career early in my twenties at the professional theater, Alley Theater. Besides being an actress myself, I have coached others. I hold an MFA from the University of Houston and finished my internship for that degree in New York City at the Roundabout Theatre, now a Broadway theater.

I use the Stanislavsky method of teaching acting and work with actors to achieve a super realistic result.
I have taught theater to ages 12-18 with great success. I have done voiceover for PBS for over 25 years. My background is very diverse and makes me more adaptable. I taught for almost 20 years and worked in theater in film for 20 years. My appraisal over the years has always be "exceeds expectations" and I have directed professionally as well, working with professional as well as community theater actors, again with great sucess. My best friend has been the dance director at Texas State and had to teach performance classes online using the technology that all students have, a phone to record their performances. I can do the same, and then coach the student in a constructive critique and the teaching of further acting techniques. My experience range from Country Playhouse, now the Queensbury Theater, Strand Street Theater in Galveston and as I mentioned, I have acted and been Company Manager at Alley Theater 1978-1982. I have directed in middle school as well as high school and worked with adults as well.
