In teaching, I advocate for Lexical and Communicative Approaches. The first one stands for learning and using language units for a reason. When we learn grammar, we learn the contexts and the reasons why we need to use that exact grammar unit in the following situation. When it comes to the Communicative Approach, here we improve our comprehension skills throughout the lesson while discussing new aspects, not just reading them. Discussion is what makes the lesson alive.

I use a Communicative approach and during the lessons, we speak ONLY English.
My lessons are based on a textbook + extra materials, therefore we have some structure + fun.
As for fun, I add role-plays, games and other interesting activities to my classes.
