I am very talented and experienced in both English calligraphy and Chinese calligraphy. Whether in church or NGO, I am a calligraphy creator.
During my teachings, I will first help students build confidence and interest, which is most important for them to have the momentum and perseverance to devote to this subject; and secondly, I will pour out my experience and techniques. Since both of my parents were teachers, I know very well how to teach in the most effective way.

Before coming to the US, I was a Ph.D. student at Zhejiang University, specializing in thermal engineering and chemical engineering.
In teaching, I first help students to build confidence and interest, which is the most important for them; and secondly, I pour my own experience and skills into teaching. Since my parents are both teachers and I have been taught by ears and eyes, I know very well how to teach a skill to others, in the fastest and most effective way.

I was born and raised in China until I graduated with my Ph.D. My Mandarin is standard since my hometown is near Beijing. During my doctoral studies, I founded the media outlet "Tosento" and have extensive experience writing, editing, and teaching. As a teacher, I teach Chinese to the congregation during the Mandarin minutes of my church worship service every Sunday.
