Travis F.
I was born in 1989 in a family of university teachers. Since both of my parents were teachers, I know very well how to teach a skill or subject to others, in the most effective way. After graduating with a Ph.D. in Thermal Engineering (with a research focus on Energy Chemicals), I came to the United States and live in Milpitas, CA.

I am very talented and experienced in both accordion and piano. I started accordion lessons at the age of 5 and learned it until I was 13, and it has been with me ever since. I also taught myself piano.
I am a choir member and music consultant both in church and my NGO.
In teaching, I first help students to build confidence and interest, which is the most important for them to have the momentum of devotion; and secondly, I pour my own experience and skills into teaching.

I was born and raised in China until I graduated with my Ph.D. My Mandarin is standard since my hometown is near Beijing. During my doctoral studies, I founded the media outlet "Tosento" and have extensive experience writing, editing, and teaching. As a teacher, I teach Chinese to the congregation during the Mandarin minutes of my church worship service every Sunday.
