I have been teaching one on one students and small workshop for years. I love teaching and know how to connect with beginners to advance students. Each lesson is geared to the individual needs and goals. My lessons move as fast or as slow as the students needs. I have over 150 five star reviews on Thumbtack (and nothing under 5 stars) as well as 5 star reviews on other platforms.

My lessons are informative and created for your personal goals. I will teach you the camera, how to read the light, composition and the dos and don’ts of photography. You will also learn about modifiers such as speed-lights, diffusers, reflectors, studio lights and more. Then we will put then knowledge to work by photographing in real-world situations. My goal is to get you to be in full manual mode so you have total control over your camera. I also teach lightroom/photoshop for post-editing.
At times, I would also be able to have you join live sessions as well as take trips to photograph mountains, waterfalls and other beautiful areas of the Carolinas.
I teach beginners to professionals.
