I am a graduate of Han Yang University which is one of the top colleges in South Korea majoring in English Language & Literature. I further earned my MBA degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Since graduation, I have instructed and taught children of Korean America immigrants, so-called the 2nd generation Korean Americans at Agape Korean Language & Culture School in Edison New Jersey for 8 years. I also taught American adults the Korean language and history in Seoul, Korea to help them learn about Korea more efficiently and accurately so that they would settle softly in Korean life. During my career as an executive at one of the top 3 conglomerates in Korea, I led and help the foreign employees through and by teaching them the Korean language for their effective and smooth adaptation to the foreign corporate life.

While having an extensive experience of tutoring a broad range of students in the US and in Korea, I am confident that I can make myself a seasoned tutor based upon my long business life as a former executive of one of the top conglomerates of Korea. Given my global exposure in a personal life as well as the professional career, my expertise in tutoring Korean should multiply the outcome to the remarkable advancements.

Given diversity background and multinational business experiences, covering from an SME to a global conglomerate, and from a banking institution to a fund management company, the high energy level and the spirit of “Challenge/ Creativity /Positivity” have become my backbone in accomplishing any given assignment and instructing/ tutoring Korean can be the exciting and rewarding task for me.

I am most passionate about Korean language, Korean literature, and Korean history. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, particularly by learning Korean language in this competitive and fast changing global environment. In my spare time, I enjoy reading the Bible, listening to the music, and playing basketball, soccer and swimming.
