I taught toy design classes that included sketching, rendering and presentation lessons. My method of teaching was to demonstrate in class these techniques. I also taught illustration at The New School in New York City.

I attended San Jose State University and graduated with honors with a BS in Industrial Design. I was awarded a Chrysler scholarship and worked summers at the University helping the faculty with projects. In my senior year I worked for IBM as an intern in the Industrial Design Department.
I got my dream job as a designer at Ford Motor Company. Car and Driver magazine in an article on becoming a car designer, said that this job was harder to get than becoming a professional basketball player. I created many designs, the most famous being the Boss Mustang. After Ford, I workied for several toy companies as VP of R & D. I then started my own consulting company, Toying Around International, and over the years I have designed toys, cars, and consumer products for many companies, I have also done illustrations for Car and Driver, Automobile magazine, Sunoco, VW and many others.
