I use a variety of other teaching methods, such as cooperative learning, scaffolding, and differentiation. I believe that the best way to teach ESL is to use a variety of methods and to tailor my instruction to the individual needs of my students.

I have both short-term and long-term ones. As for short-term goals I try to involve my students in learning each specific topic we have in syllabus, make them like it and be interested in, so their motivation grows as well as their grades, and then I can slowly move to my long-term goal which is to make them become fluent English speakers.
