I watch for level, student's goal (work towards test, just improve, guidance with homework....). I focus on pronunciation and correct grammar if needed, We can focus on reading, speaking, listening, or/writing. Depending on the need, I send the lesson ahead of time.

About:
I subscribe to the VHL system (learning platform that includes listening), I usually send packets to my clients so that we can both be on the same page when we start a session. I can assign homework and I will share useful links with you. I can also study a book or a movie (I do that over the summer sometimes). I also offer plenty of practice.
