About:

I have worked extensively in the area of Teaching English as a Second Language for more than 15 years now.
At the beginning of this career, I was an English classroom teacher for different grades. Afterwards,
I began my experience in teaching adults and found out that I can communicate and adapt very well to this age group. I can keep them engaged and motivated.
I managed to teach multiple courses ranging from General English courses to all English levels, English business, and English for Specific courses (ESP).
Afterward, I moved to a higher education field and got a post as an ESOL lecturer.
At the college, I also gained the experience of teaching ESL to learners from different backgrounds. Also, I dealt with learners from unprivileged areas who had never been exposed to schooling before along with age gap differences. Moreover, I got vocational learners from different academic backgrounds. I take great satisfaction in the fact that I was successful in helping even the weakest students to speak English and dramatically improving the level of many of those I taught. My success in teaching English is a huge part of why I am so confident in giving advice about learning languages in general.
Since I obtained a Master in Applied Linguistics for TESOL and CELTA, this gave me a deeper insight into new mechanisms and the newest English teaching methods, and I was determined to apply what I have learned I designed adequate material and tailored activities that suit the learners’ English level, age, motivation, desires, and needs. I also take into consideration the students’ learning ways and combine them by using the Communicative Language Teaching Methods (CLTM) accompanied by technology to enhance the learning process.
Finally, I worked as an ESL lecturer at a University in China where I was in charge of teaching oral (speaking and listening) and written English. I value what I have learned from living and working with people of different languages and cultures. Throughout this dynamic experience, I faced a wide variety of challenges and provided innovative solutions in a diverse range of circumstances.
I have also kept myself busy with alternative sources of employment during the pandemic working with an American organization as an English Syllabus and Material Designer and teaching Syrian refugees. It was a very rewarding achievement as I managed to take them from pre-beginner to pre-intermediate level despite online classes and multiple lockdowns.
I have a positive approach to working, flexibly, willingly, and co-operatively. Not deny that this successful progress throughout my career would have been impossible without working in teams.
I am a confident and articulate individual who has taught in a diverse range of circumstances across the world. I believe I am the right candidate for this job because of the cumulative effect of my qualifications, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience.
