My professional journey began by earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Peradeniya , Sri Lanka, which developed a strong foundation in mathematics. Armed with their BSc degree, I embarked to a teaching career. Step by step I garnered a reputation for exceptional teaching abilities, particularly in simplifying complex mathematical concepts. This unique talent allowed them to make mathematics accessible and engaging for students of all learning styles.

Recognizing the importance of continuous professional growth, I pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from PGIS, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. This program equipped them with advanced pedagogical techniques and strategies, which they skillfully incorporated into my teaching. Throughout my career, I have been using these updated evolving educational practices, in the ever-changing needs of students.

Further enhancing their qualifications, I obtained a Master's in Education from the same institution where I obtained my PG certificate.
