Hello! I enjoy working hand-to-hand with my students to understand concepts at a fundamental level. I achieve this by promoting discussion during my lessons, in which I expose my ideas and get to know my student's. In this path I frequently face challenges; I overcome them involving the student, to whom I demonstrate my problem-solving skills.

My top priority is to make my students understand their subjects at a fundamental level while making the lesson entertaining. I achieve this by involving the student as much as possible and using his current understanding of things to build up new concepts. I take an empathetic approach, recognizing my own limitations and overcoming them with my pupils during our meetings.
Biology is all about logic and, for me, picturing the dynamics of its concepts. For example, the theory of evolution starts with a group of animals, all from the same species, sharing an habitat. From there, we can work out a story of how this population's characteristics are going to change over a long period of time. Allow me to break it down to you and it'll make perfect sense in less time than it might seem.
Why do we call some elements metals, and others, non-metals? By understanding fundamental concepts, I'm able to make Chemistry an easy subject to follow up until to pre-University level. If needed, I'm also qualified to teach advanced inorganic Chemistry.
I'll show you proper form and how to progress in the gym to get stronger and mobile.
Why do things happen? We actually don't know the "whys", only the "hows". Physics is about understanding how matter behaves. Afterwards, we can make predictions because we know how it happened before. So don't ask yourself why a magnet induces an electrical current, rather, how does it do it?
This is how our first lesson might look like:
I could start by asking about what you find the hardest at school and what you like the most. Using an online whiteboard, I'll go into detail and show my approach to find a solution whilst explaining the hows and whys, so that you can apply your own understanding to other academic problems you will find in the future, making you more independent and build self-confidence.
I hope to see you soon in the classroom!
