Hello, my name is Alicebenard. I'm a Nigerian. I am a law graduate currently dedicated to teaching and mentoring students. I consider as part of my greatest assets, my ability to be patient and unrelentingly considerate in assessing my students.I work excelletly and I'm looking forward to the sessions and connecting with you.

Some of the aims of studying a language as globally relevant as English being to have a good understanding of the grammar rules and building strong listening and speaking skills as well as confidence in interactions, the following teaching approaches will be adopted: Phonics approach, Communicative Language Teaching, Grammar-translation method,Task-based learning, project-based learning as well as blended learning.

I will be glad to take you through reading lessons in English and Igbo languages(native). My teaching methods varies. For beginners, the phonics approach is a must whereby, students will embrace the relationship between letters and sounds and as well, learn how to decode words by sounding them out. Other methods include, whole language, balanced literacy, guided reading, reading comprehension and interactive read-aloud methods.
