Starting with melodic exercises and studies that will help improve finger skills (coordination and speed) both teacher and student will set a goal for musical pieces or songs to learn and perform in a specific time frame within the level of difficulty according to the student's skills. During classes, there will be moments to learn about music theory and structure to help to understand it, so it can help in the performance of every musical piece.

In my opinion, to teach someone about an instrument, first you should teach them about the theory behind it. So my lessons will be theory-focussed at the beginning, and eventually they will be becoming more instrument-focused according to the students' acknowledgement.
