Hello, my name is Awa. Native of Senegal, I enjoy interacting with my students and make sure they enjoy their journey and do put a lot of emphasis in practice through speaking. I believe that the quickest way to learn a new language is to connect to a native-speaker.

I am a chemical engineer and I am passionate at learning new languages and cultures. I love travelling and meeting people. I have managed to learn Turkish in 3 months and have spent quite a lot of my free time during university giving one to one paid French classes. I have a 1.5 year teaching experience as a one-to-one French tutor. My target was mainly constituted of primary and middle school students preparing DELF. So we worked together on grammar, building up vocabulary through usage of flashcards, playing word games such as scrabble and speaking practice. Likewise, much importance is given to writing essays in subjects they are interested in.
