Hi! I’m a chemist and online tutor with 8+ years of teaching experience. I help high school, AP/IB and college students understand Chemistry through clear explanations, guided problem-solving and connections to biology, physics and medicine.

I am a chemist, Chemistry teacher and international online tutor with 8+ years of teaching experience in Ukraine, Switzerland and online. Chemistry is my main specialization, and I work with students from middle school, high school, AP Chemistry, IB Chemistry and college-level General Chemistry.

I help students understand Chemistry in a clear, structured and practical way. My main teaching areas include General Chemistry, inorganic chemistry, stoichiometry, solutions, acids and bases, chemical bonding, equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, reaction kinetics, introductory organic chemistry, basic biochemistry and Chemistry for pre-med, nursing, pharmacy, biology, engineering and other science-related programs.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and two Master’s degrees in scientific fields related to applied physics, nanomaterials, nanoscience and nanoscale engineering. I am also completing professional teacher training in Switzerland for teaching Chemistry at upper-secondary / high school level. In addition to teaching, I have research experience in supramolecular chemistry, organic synthesis, nanomedicine and molecular systems. This allows me to explain Chemistry not only as a school subject, but also as a real science connected to biology, physics, medicine, materials science and technology.

My lessons are personalized and goal-oriented. First, I check the student’s current level, course materials, homework, past tests and exam goals. Then I identify the real source of difficulty: missing theory, weak math skills, scientific vocabulary, problem-solving strategy or lack of practice. After that, we work step by step with clear explanations, guided questions and targeted exercises.

I do not simply solve problems for the student. I teach students how to think through a Chemistry problem, recognize the type of task, choose the correct method, justify each step and avoid common mistakes. My goal is to help students become more independent and confident, especially when preparing for tests, AP/IB exams, college courses or university entrance requirements.

I use a digital whiteboard, visual explanations, structured notes, personalized practice problems and examples adapted to the student’s course or teacher. When useful, I connect abstract topics to real scientific applications, such as medicine, materials, nanotechnology, environmental chemistry and everyday life.

I can teach Chemistry in English and also support students in German, Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish when needed. Besides Chemistry, I also offer support in German, Ukrainian, Russian, beginner Spanish and basic/intermediate Math, especially when these skills are needed for science learning.

My teaching style is serious, patient and structured. I focus on clarity, confidence, exam preparation and long-term understanding, not just memorizing formulas.
