I will sit down and live draw with my students to explain the processes I go through creating different types of art. I can also answer questions and show different tactics and at home ways to improve art abilities. Students can request different skills like: realism, anime, cartoon, still life, horror art, punk art, character design, environment design, concept art, prop/item design.

I begin with a well-structured curriculum that outlines the key concepts students will learn in each software. I divide the curriculum into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. To help students better understand the topics, I create pre-recorded video tutorials for each lesson and provide step-by-step explanations and visual examples. I then assign hands-on projects that apply the skills learned in the lessons and provide feedback on completed projects.

Hi, I'm Shelby. I have a BA in History from Johns Hopkins University, where I graduated with honors. I tutored in the Writing Center at JHU and have worked with K-12 students improve their grasp of English and History and assisted with writing and research projects. I am an actor and comedian in addition to working in media, news and entertainment industries. I love working with students and have experience working with folks on the spectrum and with ADHD.
