I am currently the head coach at Longfellow middle school in Berkeley. I’ve been a youth baseball coach in Berkeley for nineteen years. I specifically instruct best practices in the following areas: Infield, Pitching, Catching and Hitting for contact and power. I am a proud Alumni of a HBCU. My approach to instruction of baseball is a “take them as they come” philosophy. I teach my players to learn the rules like a pro as Picasso said so that they can break them like artists! I believe that baseball is democracy in Action.

I played 4 years of college ball at the University of Louisville, where I played in 2 college World Series. I then played 3 seasons professionally with the Seattle Mariners, making it up to AAA! Can work with kids of all ages and experience levels! Have a strong passion for giving back to the game by teaching and coaching the next generation of ball players! I specialize in hitting and infield, but can also coach high level pitching and outfield!
