Hello there! My name is Kostis Rampavilas and I’m an awarded, professional actor for film, television and stage and an acting teacher. I offer acting classes and preparation classes for Drama School Auditions.

I am a hard-working professional who has been consistently praised as detail-oriented by my co-workers and management. Over the course of my 11-year career as a professional stage & film actor and 9 years as an acting teacher, I’ve developed a skill set directly relevant to the Acting Instructor role you are looking for, including lifelong learning, training and development and human behavior and performance. I have an Integrated Master’s Degree in Theatre Studies & Acting from the School of Drama of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, with distinction. After my graduation I have worked for 4 years as an actor at the National Theatre of Northern Greece, among other famous theatre organizations in Greece, and, additionally, I have directed an opera performance in cooperation with the N.T.N.G.. Furthermore, I was cast and also awarded in many short and feature films in Greece and abroad, which have been selected for screening at film festivals worldwide, including Cannes International Film Festival, Madrid International Film Festival, World Independent Cinema Awards (WICA), New York International Film Festival and Vegas Movie Awards.
My skills as a teacher are broad as well. During both the years of my university studies and the years I’ve been working as a professional actor and drama teacher for both kids and adults, Ι have immersed myself both theoretically and practically in many acting –and dancing- techniques and methods like Grotowski’s, Stanislavski’s, Strasberg’s, Meisner’s, Brecht’s, Laban’s etc.. I have taught acting for film and stage to actors that are already making their way to pursue careers in the performing arts and I also frequently work with writers and directors on script analysis and script development consult with them on the rehearsal process and provide on-set or on-stage coaching. Through these experiences I have developed exercises and techniques that enable writers, directors and actors to share a common understanding of the actor’s work.
