I am licensed teacher with over 27 years of experience who is passionate about Spanish! I love to explore new places and try new things. I have lived with families in Costa Rica and Mexico, organized and led student field trips to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, spent 8 summers in Puerto Rico, and wandered around by myself in Peru!

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Connecticut State University. Some of the credits I received were from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, where I took Spanish conversation classes. I believe that everyone learns differently and at different paces, so I tailor my teaching to the best way to get students to where they want to go according to how they learn best. I am a very happy, positive, and easy going teacher who is passionate about what I do. I know how to break things down and make them easier to understand. I like to make learning fun!
